Norman Robert Cover

Norman Robert Cover Sr. (Bob) passed away on March 14, 2020 surrounded by his family. Son to Roy Valentine Cover and Georgiana Mary Schmiede Knecht, he was born on September 9th, 1942 at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon, Michigan. Norm married Peggy Joan Kotzian Cover on October 11th, 1961. Norm and Peggy had three children: Norman Jr. (Jody) Cover, Debbie (Tim) Forrest, and Michael (Autumn) Cover. Norm will lovingly be remembered by his grandchildren; Alex Cover (Alisha Ham), Tyler Cover (Megan VanAsperen), Brandon (Ashley) Vincent, Timmy Forrest, Joey Forrest, Colby Cover, Bria Cover, Mason Cover, Mckenna Cover; great grandchildren Remington Cover and Braxton Forrest; brothers George (Jeanne) Cover, Rex (Cheryl) Cover, Denny (Becky) Cover, Jeff (Lawain) Werner; brother-in-law Mike Labioka. Norm was preceded in death by his sister Polly. Norm has many nieces and nephews. Norm was a sales representative for Purity Cylinder Gasses and a welding instructor. Norm also served in the United States Army in Germany from 1961 to 1963. One of Norm’s passions included fishing, while also going out with family on the boat, and going on a men’s trip once a year with his friends. He also loved to camp with his wife and family. Norm was part of the “Road Rodz” car club. A Celebration of Life for Norm will be later in the Spring.
