Julius Cizczion

Julius (Chick) Cizczion passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2020. He was born March 28,1927, the son of Andrew and Mary (Dianko) Cizczion. Chick was a graduate of Allegan High School in 1945. He proudly served in the US Army from 1945 to 1947. Chick was a life member Elks and the Eagles. Chick worked at Rockwell International for 39 years before his retirement in 1986. He enjoyed sports. He played softball for 38 years, until he was 59 years old. He loved golf. He got a whole in one at Cheshire golf course. He is survived by his wife Mary; his stepdaughter, Barbara (Kevin) Love; stepdaughter-in-law, Patty Wendt. His grandson, Brandon (Bobbi) Love, great-grandsons, Max and Nolan; his sisters-in-law, Nancy White and Beverly Stamper. His brothers-in-law, Pete Hansen and Richard Maidens, and his beloved nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Mary Cizczion; stepson, Lloyd Wendt; sisters, Estella Cizczion, Helen Ciborski, Josephine Worthington, and Genevieve Hansen. His brothers-in-law, John Ciborski, Lloyd Worthington, James Maidens, Norman Maidens, James White, and Larry Stamper. Cremation has taken place. We will have a grave side service with military honors at Fort Custer at a later date.
