Ella Marie Patterson passed away peacefully on Sept. 23, 2020 at the age of 95. She will be greatly missed by her family and remembered for her keen sense of humor and outspoken opinions about politics and current events. She loved dancing, especially the Polka, and she enjoyed billiards, crossword puzzles, reading, and was a competitive Scrabble player.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Hattie (Jurries) Victor, first husband Clarence Zone, second husband Noal (Pat) Patterson, four siblings Julia, Alice, Merrill and Melvin, and a grandson Charlie Gillette.
She is survived by one sister, Helen Leigh, four children Linda Thomas (John), Michelle Panovich (Don), Michael Zone, Mary Thompson (Ricky) plus 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren also numerous nieces and nephews.
No service is planned at this time, and her remains will be interred along with her second husband’s at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
