David Raymond Hole

On a sunny Sunday on March 2, 1952, David Raymond Hole and his twin sister Linda were born. On a sunny day on July 29, 2020, David met the Savior that he loved so dearly. He was a man of many interests which included Bible study, reading, word searches, cooking, and gardening. Like his biblical namesake, David loved to dance – much to the embarrassment of his daughter Krista. David found The Salvation Army as a boy and became a lifelong soldier. He was known for his loud and exuberant singing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Rose Virginia Hole and his brothers, Richard and John Hole. He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Jean, and their only daughter Krista, his twin sister Linda, brother Robert, and sister Margaret. He will also be remembered by his brothers and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, too many cousins to count, and all the people he came to love as family. A “Homecoming” celebration for David will take place at The Salvation Army Little Pine Island Camp on Aug.22 at 10:00 am.

Love my brother in Christ, David!!! So thankful for this great friend, encourager and happy-go-lucky guy!! So thankful for sharing a few years of life together! My heart hurt when I heard he died, BUT we know that Jesus is laughing at David’s exuberant entrance into life eternal!!! Praying for you, Jean and Krista. It feels like David is gone too soon. Our Heavenly Father knows. May HIS comfort, strength and peace be yours everyday of your lives and forever. Much love, respect and appreciation for our friendship! Dan Leisher
